At Cornerstone, we exist to help others Find New Life in Christ.
A Message from our Pastor Logan White about Cornerstone
The Vision
Cornerstone is a caring community of imperfect people becoming more like Jesus
The Values
“A Caring Community” — Love in Action
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” (John 13:34-35)
At Cornerstone, we want to be the kind of community where people feel genuinely cared for, where burdens are shared, and no one walks alone or struggles in the dark. Jesus said the world would recognize His followers by how they love one another. That’s not a passive or simply sentimental love—it’s active, practical, and sacrificial, not just for those who attend our church but towards those outside as well. The verse above is a call to mirror the love Jesus has shown us: not just in words, but in how we show up for each other. Whether someone is celebrating or struggling in life, we aim to be a place where you are known, loved, and encouraged in your faith. Watch message: A Caring Community
“Imperfect People” — God Meets Us Where We Are
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:23-24)
At Cornerstone, we don’t pretend to be perfect. We are a church of growing disciples of Jesus, not perfect disciples. We recognize that we all carry mess, baggage, struggles, and sin. The verse listed here reminds us that no one is exempt from falling short. That truth isn’t meant to shame us—it’s meant to show all of us our need for Jesus. It means we don’t have to hide behind masks or try to measure up to what we think someone who goes to church should be. Instead, we can be honest with God and with each other, trusting that He meets us right in our mess and invites us into a better life. Grace is the foundation of our community, not performance, and this grace isn’t just for us in the church but for those in our extended community as well. Watch message:Imperfect People
“Becoming More Like Jesus” — A Lifelong Transformation
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (Corinthians 3:17-18)
We believe following Jesus and what he taught is not learned overnight. We are transformed little by little, day by day, into the image and likeness of Jesus. The verse above says the Spirit of God is actively shaping us to reflect Jesus more clearly as we walk with Him. That means there’s room to grow, space to ask hard questions, and grace when we fall short. At Cornerstone, we want to be people who keep showing up, keep learning, and keep saying yes to the work God is doing in us so that we become more like Jesus. Watch message: Becoming More Like Jesus
