At Cornerstone, we love children! We believe that even very young children can make a meaningful decision to follow Christ. We are dedicated to creating a loving and safe environment where children can build strong relationships, both with Jesus and their peers. We recognize the importance of connecting children to Christ and to the larger church family and fellow believers. We aim to create a sense of belonging where kids can form lasting friendships and support one another on their journey of faith and salvation. We support parents in their role as spiritual guides for their children and encourage their questions, suggestions, and participation. Together, we want to instill hope and confidence in every child, assuring them that they are valued in God’s eyes and He has a good plan for their life.
We offer care for Infants through 2 years old in our nursery during service. Classes are also offered for children ages 2 years through 5th grade during service as well. During class time, children participate in their own worship service, learn a Bible story, and complete a craft or activity. Each week, children ages 2- 5th grade, will learn the same Bible story with a slightly different emphasis, based on age level.
If you have children, we would consider it an honor to have them join us! If you love children and want to volunteer to teach or assist a teacher, we have applications available.
